What is your professional background/experience?

I got into forestry through tree planting in the summers to pay my way through undergrad. I was foolish enough at the time to think I would get to work outside all of the time and now cherish the days I am not in front of a computer.

What education or courses have you completed?

This makes no sense but I studied english literature in Quebec and forestry in England. Working in forestry in BC lead me to study conflict analysis and management

What is your favorite thing about the work you do?

I love working so close to home with the people I share this beautiful part of the world with.

Which project are you most proud of and why?

The one I am working in at any given moment

How do you spend your time when you’re not working on Cathro Collective projects?

Being a dad and husband, helping to grow our own food, volunteering in the community, getting out on the lake and up in the mountains at all times of year.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Turn mean people into barefoot smiling dancers at a summer music festival at the snap of my fingers
